Sygic Aura 3D comes to PND at IFA

pocketgpsworld.comThe first version of Sygic's Aura 3D Navigation Platform will be unveiled at IFA in Berlin next week.

Previously available only on the iPhone, it is making its PND debut on a Wayteq branded device. Sygic Aura brings 3D mapping , extensive travel information content, city guides, POIs alongside the standard navigation featureset.

"Aura is the world‘s first and so far only 3D hardware accelerated navigation application on a PND.“ says Samo Jurdik, Product & Marketing Manager of Sygic.

The Wayteq x990 Navigator features a 600 MHz SiRF Prima CPU with built-in 3D support. It sports a 5” (800 x 480) touch screen 4 GB memory and T-Flash support for up to an additional 16 GB. The device also offers multimedia functions including music, video, images, flash player and e-book reader.
